1. Privacy & Data Handling

We adhere to a strict No-Logs Policy. We believe privacy is a fundamental human right.

  • Ephemeral Processing: Your search queries (IPs, Domains, URLs) are processed in real-time memory (RAM) solely to return the result. They are discarded immediately after the request completes.
  • No Database: We do not maintain a history of user searches.
  • No Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or share your query data with third parties.
Security Cookies: Our services are protected by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may place strictly necessary security cookies (such as __cf_bm and cf_clearance) on your device. These are used exclusively for bot detection and DDoS protection.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

By accessing WiredAlter public utilities, you agree NOT to:

  • Use our tools for automated, high-volume scraping without prior written permission.
  • Use the data retrieved (e.g., WHOIS emails) to generate spam, phishing, or unsolicited marketing.
  • Audit or scan websites you do not own or do not have explicit permission to test.

3. Service-Specific Terms

🌐 3.1 IP Intelligence (ip.wiredalter.com)

Accuracy: Geolocation data is an approximation based on ISP registration. Do not rely on it for emergency services or legal proof of location.

Uses IP2Location LITE database under license.

Global Propagation: Results reflect the live state of DNS records as seen from our specific global edge nodes.

Caching Warning: Due to DNS TTL (Time To Live) and ISP caching, the results shown here may differ from what you see on your local network. We do not guarantee real-time synchronization with every ISP in the world.

🔍 3.3 WHOIS Lookup (whois.wiredalter.com)

Strict Usage Limits: You are accessing data from third-party Registries (e.g., Verisign, PIR, Nominet). You agree to abide by all ICANN policies.

Prohibited Actions: You may NOT use this data to enable high-volume, automated electronic processes that apply to the Registry (except as reasonably necessary to register domain names) or to support the transmission of mass unsolicited commercial advertising (spam).

Specific copyright notices regarding domain ownership are included in the "Raw Output" of your search result and belong to the respective Registry.

📊 3.4 Web Audit (audit.wiredalter.com)

Authorization Warranty: By initiating a scan, you represent and warrant that you are the owner of the target domain or have explicit permission from the owner to perform security and performance auditing.

Scan Behavior: Our audit service deploys a standard "Headless Chrome" browser to visit the URL. We identify ourselves via User-Agent to allow webmasters to filter traffic if desired.

Technology detection logic derived from Wappalyzer (Open Source).

4. Disclaimer of Warranty

ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". WiredAlter DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE OUR TOOLS.
